April 5th, 2012

JRC Ritz Foodservice Broker Group Representatives:

Please read the important announcements regarding April sales team initiatives.

US Foods:

US Foods is once again rolling out a Division Stocking Program (also known as Essentials or Core 120) to all of their divisions. Last year’s “TOP 60 Stocking Initiative” was extremely successful and for both US Foods and JRC Ritz Foodservice. Below are the specific kitchen textile items that are part of this focused equipment & supply initiative. Be sure that these items are prominently displayed and talked about at every show this spring.

We have made a few changes on the US Foods Virtual Apparel web site adding additional functionality and ease for customers to browse, order product and embroider apparel.

The site is www.usfoodscesuniforms.com and the improvements include :
Interactive catalog with category separation
Quote request Cart for printing or e:mailing to the US Foods sales person, CES persons or our rep to follow up with
Updated graphics
Simpler download of logos and names

I strongly encourage everyone to launch to the site and become familiar with the changes. We have made a significant investment in the Virtual Apparel category for US Foods and anticipate substantial growth in apparel sales.

Samples & Literature:

The new 2012 JRC Ritz Foodservice apparel catalogs are now completed and are ready for immediate shipping. You will find attached the PDF version of the catalog that I strongly suggest you download in your electronic literature library. We will be sending out to each rep group office a box of 50 each the first week of April. Take note all of the assortment of apron styles and colors that have been introduced in this new catalog.

As a reminder when ordering samples and literature, we need as much lead-time as possible to process and ship the requests. Note, www.doc-lab.com is the blog site set up exclusively for our Rep groups only. This is not a link or site we direct our operator, dealer and/or distributor customers to at any time. We are near the completion of our new JRC Ritz Foodservice site.

Shows & Sales Meetings:

Requests for silk screened mitts, aprons and all literature are ordered on the blog site page “Order Literature and Samples Here”.
If at all possible, submit the sample and literature requests at least 10 days prior to the show or meeting giving us ample time to fill the order and avoid expensive overnight freighting.
Be sure to include a shipping address and not a P.O. Box
Order enough of the literature to cover at least 2 shows.
Be sure to download the PDF (electronic) versions of each catalog for reference.

“Live” Product Samples:

“Live” product samples for operator/dealer/distributor review must be sent to Michael, Kelly or me for initial approval.
Make sure you have the following information on the sample request to avoid delays in processing the request:

  • Item number and product description (JRC, Sysco, US Foods, ProWare, etc.)
  • Quantity of samples needed
  • Shipping address and name of person to receive the samples

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    Thanks.
